2025 Canadian Alliance of Chinese Associations Spring Festival Temple Fair

On February 7, the 2025 Vancouver Spring Festival Temple Fair, organized by the Canadian Alliance of Chinese Associations and proudly sponsored by Amber Financial, grandly opened at Tsawwassen Mills, bringing together people of all backgrounds to celebrate the Year of the Snake.

The third annual temple fair featured a spectacular opening ceremony, with drumming, dragon and lion dances, and a golden snake performance. Distinguished guests, including Dr. Alice Wong, Consul General Yang Shu, and Executive Chairman Chu Yuanzheng, attended the event. Chu emphasized the importance of promoting Chinese culture, especially as 2025 marks the first Lunar New Year since its UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage recognition.

Consul General Yang Shu extended New Year’s greetings, highlighting the festival’s role in showcasing Chinese traditions to the wider community.

As title sponsor, Amber Financial’s Marketing Director Meng Xiang shared the company’s 10-year commitment to financial services and community giving, with over 500,000 CAD in charitable contributions.

The temple fair, themed “Celebrating the New Year, Welcoming the Year of the Snake, and Promoting Chinese Culture,” featured festive shopping, cultural performances, and traditional delicacies. Red carpets, vibrant decorations, and traditional Chinese music created a lively marketplace atmosphere.

Amber Financial is honored to support the Chinese community and foster the integration of Chinese culture into Vancouver’s diverse society.

Wishing you prosperity and success in the Year of the Snake!
