The 7th Annual “Care for Lions Gate” Charity Gala, proudly sponsored by Amber Financial, will take place on November 2, 2024, at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel in Vancouver. As one of the North Shore community’s signature charity events, it draws over 300 philanthropic attendees every year.
For the second consecutive year, Amber Financial is sponsoring the “Caring Shines at Lions Gate” Charity Gala. This year’s theme, “Be Our Star,” promises an array of exciting highlights, with a standout being the fashion show — a new addition to the event. Partnering with the international luxury brand Burberry®, the gala will deliver a sparkling night of fashion fused with philanthropy.
The 7th Annual Charity Gala aims to raise funds for the expansion of Lions Gate Hospital’s Cancer Care Center through charity auctions and donations. The current facility, which hasn’t been updated in 20 years, can only serve 24 patients at a time.
The Cancer Care Center is a vital part of Lions Gate Hospital, with a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals who provide personalized, comprehensive cancer care and treatment. The center treats an average of 1,000 patients per month. Amber Financial hopes that its ongoing contributions will help expand the center, offering more advanced and tailored care for cancer patients, while making a lasting impact on the local community.
Amber Financial is honored to sponsor the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation’s annual charity gala once again, playing a part in fundraising efforts. Over the past decade, Amber Financial has been deeply involved in public welfare, particularly supporting healthcare initiatives and vulnerable populations. Amber Financial has been the title sponsor of the Vancouver New Year’s Charity Concert for four years, raising funds for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.
