Amber Financial Sponsors “Amber Room” at Lions Gate Hospital’s New Acute Care Tower, Enhancing Community Healthcare Access

North Vancouver, BC — Amber Financial proudly supports the newly completed Paul Myers Tower at Lions Gate Hospital with the sponsorship of Room 6036, officially named the “Amber Room.” This contribution reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to healthcare and community well-being.

The $325 million tower—opening March 9, 2025—features 108 private patient rooms and 8 advanced operating theatres, marking a major upgrade to North Shore’s healthcare system. Vancouver Coastal Health has highlighted its impact in relieving pressure on local services and improving patient care.

“Supporting the Amber Room is part of our broader mission to give back to the community and help build a stronger, healthier future,” said Amber Financial Founder & CEO Yi Song.

Amber Financial has also served as title sponsor of the Evening of Care galas in both 2023 and 2024, helping raise over $500,000 for cancer treatment programs at Lions Gate Hospital.

Over the past decade, Amber Financial has donated more than $500,000 to causes including Canuck Place, the Pacific Autism Family Network, YWCA, the Chinese Canadian Museum, and more. The company also co-founded BC’s first Chinese-Canadian credit union, AmCredit Community Savings, serving the local Chinese-speaking community.

With a strong belief in corporate citizenship, Amber Financial continues to support initiatives that create lasting, positive impact across healthcare, education, culture, and beyond.
